Celler Generi is the smallest wine cellar of the Empordà designation of origin, founded in 1997. It's size allows to produce almost 100% artisan wine using up to date devices. We own five small vineyards where we distribute the different varieties cultivated, and after doing a right control of the grape, when it is ripe, we pick by hand a selection of the best grapes that allows to us to make a pure and wonderful wine. We always follows the advice of one of the best Alt Emporda’s oenologist, Jaume Serra Pagès, who assure to take the best out of our ripe grape. We only extract the film from the tank or tub, we mean that our wine “Prat d’Egna” doesn’t contain pressed wine. It is a well structured wine that allows to keep and to retain the good things itself and also it has a good capacity to improve through the years. We have an small production, from the 1998, maximum 4.000-4.500 bottles of “Prat d’Egna negre” and 800 bottles of “Prat d’Egna blanc”. The small production enables us to fuss our wine over and is exactly this meaning that appears in your mind when you taste our brand.
